Summer Young Speakers Camp at The Practice Space:

Spend a week building confidence at our Young Speakers Camp! Make friends and practice your choice of: storytelling, debate, and advocacy speeches. Have fun working together and becoming a better speaker! This program is geared towards students ages 7 to 11 and is open to anyone, cap is 25 students. Scholarships available.

In-Person and Online Events:

Sign up for a free Young Speaker scrimmage! Scrimmages are easy, friendly practice events: we start with snacks, then a short workshop to teach you the basics of speech and debate, and end by sharing speeches or doing practice debates. Some are small, where you only speak in front of students, and others are bigger “showcases” for a public audience.

Dates: (all 10am-12pm, in person at our Richmond office, 317 11th Street. Stay tuned for online options!)
