If we don’t have a program at your school…
Join our speech and debate programs for students ages 8-11, three times a year! Every fall and spring, we have a weekly online club where you try different types of speech (including storytelling, acting, presentation, and podcasting) and improve your debate skills. Our week-long, in-person summer camp is great for beginners and repeat campers who want to deepen their skills. 100% improve their confidence! Participate for more than one season and earn milestone awards. If your child is 11 to 13 years old, they are also welcome to try our Teen Speakers Programs (see our Youth, Grades 9-12 page).

Winter/Spring Young Speakers Club (online), ages 8-11
- Spring Registration CLOSED: 8 weeks, Wednesdays, January 25-March 22
- 4-5:30pm PST (no class week of February 20-24), ages 8-11
- 12 & 13 years olds are welcome to join this program or one of our teen programs
- $150 (scholarships are available)

Summer Young Speakers Camp (in person), ages 8-11
- Summer Registration OPEN:
- 1 week, Monday-Friday, June 26-30
- 10am-2pm at our Richmond office

Every spring, we hold a "Young Leader Fest", an in-person conference for young leaders in grades 3-8.
Leaders participate in fun classes and learn to pitch and present on issues important to them. They work with trained mentors to use their voice to inspire positive change! There is no cost to this program, but students must apply. This program takes place in the SF Bay Area.
Save the Date: May 20th, 2023. Apply by March 31, 2023.
We are excited to offer our after-school speech and debate teams at select school campuses!
Have fun practicing speech and debate in a safe team environment, working with a coach to feel more confident with public speaking. We have programs at the following school sites in West Contra Unified and Vallejo in the SF Bay Area: Dover Elementary, Tara Hills Elementary, Washington Elementary, Sheldon Elementary, Grant Elementary, and Loma Vista Environmental Science Academy.
