Come see adult members of our local community present their ideas and “works in progress” — from presentations about new businesses to new projects and ideas, this month’s event will showcase the creativity and innovation going on in our community. Speakers include a talk on an animation/art summer camp, a story about founding a plant-based food company, invention ideas, and more! This interactive, casual event is a great way to help people practice talking about their ideas, while also having a chance to give feedback, ask questions, and discuss ideas of your own.
Monthly Community Days:
The Practice Space Community Days are a free, family-friendly event every last Sunday of the month. We start at 4pm with a mini-showcase for speakers to practice storytelling, speeches, debate, monologues, and presentations, followed by discussion and public speaking tips and techniques. We will end with some social time and food to get to know one another as well. We welcome all ages, including people who only want to listen. Community Days bring people together to listen and learn in a fun, enjoyable way, and build speaking skills through coaching and practice.
This event is free (donations are accepted), with speakers ages 8 to adult, depending on the theme, from 4pm-5:30pm. Please reach out if you are interested in speaking! Otherwise, we hope you check it out and give people an audience for practice.
(Sunday) 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
