Build confidence by practicing public speaking skills in our after-school club! Make friends and practice your choice of: storytelling, debate, pitches, or persuasive speeches. Have fun working together and becoming a better speaker! This program is geared towards students ages 8 to 12 and takes place in person.

Mondays and Wednesdays.

Calling all speakers and debaters! This club is for 12-16 year olds who are interested in getting more practice with speech and debate. Learn how to argue and feel more comfortable speaking off the top of your head. This club is open to beginners and intermediate students, so whether you already love speech and debate or have always been curious but were too shy, this club is for you! Every week, we practice debating different topics, practice speeches, and work together with partners in a fun, supportive environment. Open to students of all experience levels, including past club participants. This program is geared towards students ages 12 to 16 and takes place online.

Demonstrate your skills in a comfortable, low-stakes competition with feedback, activities, awards, and friends. No cost.

Level up the Young Speakers Camp with additional “Leadership Time” for a full-day exeprience! You will start with building your confidence through speech and debate at our Young Speakers Camp. Then, you will continue on for additional games and activities to practice your leadership skills. This experience helps students of all levels become strong communicators and leaders.

Cost: $250 for 1 week

Spend your summer becoming a better speaker, actor, and debater! Our Teen Speech & Debate Camp is open to students ages 12 to 18 of all levels, including middle schoolers and experienced debaters. Receive personalized coaching in small lab groups with campers of similar interests and experience. Past years have included labs for novice debaters who have never debated before in addition to advanced labs that have produced state champions and award winners at the Tournament of Champions. This program is open to anyone and is taught by award-winning coaches. Scholarships available.

Cost: $350 for 2 weeks
